Nebraska Folklife Network (nebraskafolklife.org) will be hosting their next Cars, Culture, & Coffee event October 13 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. This will be the second time they host this event with a twist. The official name will be Cars, Culture, & Coffee: Trunk-or-Treat Fundraiser edition.

The Trunk-or-Treat Fundraiser edition is designed to support operational, intern and programming expenses as part of their 20th anniversary celebration. The organization extends a warm invitation to everyone, whether they are passionate gearheads, individuals looking to showcase their vehicles, those eager to participate in the trunk-or-treat aspect, partake in the various age based costume contests with various prizes, raffles or individuals simply seeking an evening of exploring folk traditions and stories. This event is free for the community. Those interested in participating in costume contests, raffles, as a trunk-or- treat participant, having a booth or as art vendors are encouraged to visit the Nebraska Folklife page and fill out the forms before October 9. This event is proudly sponsored by Honda of Lincoln and Union Bank & Trust.

Nebraska Folklife’s mission is to amplify the presence of folk and traditional artists throughout the state, providing them with greater exposure and recognition. For more information and to get involved, please visit nebraskafolklife.org.
