Nebraska Recycling Council Joins the Community Services Fund of Nebraska

Nebraska Recycling Council (NRC; www.nrcne.org) was one of three new non-profit agencies adopted into the Community Services Fund (CSF) in 2019. NRC provides resources and assistance for communities across Nebraska to reduce, reuse, and recover materials for their highest and best use to protect Nebraska’s good life for future generations.

Community Services Fund is a statewide federation of 70 non-profit organizations working to enhance the quality of life in Nebraska. They make it easy for workplaces and employees to support positive change in their communities by making donations to this group of non-profits through payroll deduction. CSF provides all the materials needed by employers, including an online giving/pledging option that can be customized.

Workplaces that include Community Services Fund in their annual employee giving programs like United Way, see increased employee participation and engagement. CSF member agencies provide quality health care for the underserved, conserve Nebraska’s environment, support children and families, and work for animal welfare.

Non-profit members include, among many others, Clinic with a Heart, Habitat for Humanity, Omaha Zoo Foundation, Lincoln Children’s Museum, MilkWorks, Nature Conservancy, Ronald McDonald House Charities in Omaha, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska, Nebraska Public Radio and Television, Nebraska Appleseed, and now, Nebraska Recycling Council.
