Nebraskans Invited to Nebraska Community Foundation’s Annual Celebration in York

Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF) (NebraskaHometown.org) is turning 25 and, to celebrate, is hosting its 2019 Annual Celebration at the Holthus Center in York on November 14 around the theme of “NCF25: Turn It Up. DREAM!” Registration for this milestone occasion is now open.

Part volunteer training, part hometown expo, part celebratory banquet, NCF’s Annual Celebration brings hundreds of ambitious community leaders under one roof to embrace the assets, abundance, and optimism that have earned us the name Greater Nebraska. NCF’s growing grassroots network hails from every corner of the state. Together, over 1,500 volunteers are inspiring change, taking control of their future, and achieving their dreams. NCF’s unique training model puts volunteer voices, rather than outside experts, at the center of learning. Peer-to-peer interactions have been the cornerstone of NCF’s philosophy since its inception 25 years ago.

Nebraska Community Foundation unleashes abundant local assets, inspires charitable giving, and connects ambitious people to build stronger communities and a Greater Nebraska. In the last five years, 44,476 contributions have been made to NCF and its affiliated funds. Since 1994, NCF has reinvested $355.3 million in Nebraska’s people and places.
