Voices of Hope (voicesofhopelincoln.org) is thrilled to share the exciting news of their 30th Annual Shop to Stop Family Violence Event, scheduled to take place from October 19 to 25. During this week-long event, participating shops have generously committed to donating 2% of their sales to Voices of Hope, a crucial contribution that directly supports the delivery of essential services and much-needed support to individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, sex trafficking and other forms of abuse. Voices of Hope provides confidential 24/7 crisis intervention services to all genders who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and related forms of abuse. Their mission is to make sure that all victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as their families and communities, receive responsive, empowering services and support that meet their needs, both individual and cultural, through advocacy and education aimed at eliminating recurrence, challenging oppressive social institutions, and reducing violence and oppression.
