Status Haymarket (megslope.com/boob-fest-2025) will host Boob Fest: Fashion for a Cause on Saturday, Oct. 11, at The Gathering Grove. Far more than a fashion show, Boob Fest is a bold celebration of courage, resilience, and community, with breast cancer survivors and women in active treatment taking the runway to showcase strength and beauty in every step.
The event is the vision of Cassie, owner of Status in the Haymarket and a 20-year breast cancer survivor, and Meg Slope, who is currently in her own fight against breast cancer. Together,
they transformed their shared experiences into an empowering event that shines a spotlight on survivorship while rallying the community to stand behind women impacted by breast cancer.
Proceeds from Boob Fest will benefit Project Pink’d, a nonprofit dedicated to helping survivors beyond diagnosis with critical resources, programs, and community care. Boob Fest is about creating space where women are seen, celebrated, and supported. Every walk down the runway honors the fight, the survival, and the hope for what’s ahead.
