TeamMates Gear Up for Capitol City Ford and Mustang Car Show
TeamMates and the Capitol City Ford and Mustang Club eagerly anticipate the upcoming classic car show that will attract car enthusiasts and benefit TeamMates of Lincoln (teammates.org). The show is free to the public and will be held Friday through Sunday, July 13-15, in the north Pinnacle Bank Arena parking lots. The Capitol City Ford and Mustang Club is a regional club affiliated with the national Mustang Club of America. There will be more than 300 cars on display vying to receive points for originality and quality of restoration at the highest level of judged car competitions.
Doug Drewes, an event organizer and club member, recommended TeamMates as a show benefactor after hearing TeamMates co-founder Tom Osborne speak about the importance of urging students to pursue a post-secondary education. “Our club added TeamMates as a recipient of the proceeds of the show because of the organization’s commitment to helping students reach their potential,” Drewes added. TeamMates is grateful for the gift that will help to match students with positive community mentors.
