In honor of January’s National Mentoring Month, TeamMates Mentoring of Lincoln (lincolnteammates.org) resumed the TeamMates Mentoring Hour on 93.7 FM The Ticket, a radio program hosted every Wednesday from 6 – 7 p.m. Host and station owner, Derrick “D.P.” Pearson, interviews guests about their TeamMates experiences and the impact it has had on their lives. He has applied to be a TeamMates mentor himself.
Last fall, the broadcast inspired men to apply who’d never considered mentoring.
“You have the ability to impact communities you work in and live in,” Pearson told listeners. “This is a direct impact and you can do this, as matter of fact, you should do this.”
