TeamMates to Recognize Mentors, Students, School Staff, Community Partners at Annual Event

The annual TeamMates (www.lincolnteammates.org) Recognition Event Dinner and Awards celebration takes place on Thursday, January 26, 2017, from 5:30 to 7:30. The event is reserved for TeamMates matches, school staff and invited honorees. The event celebrates National Mentoring Month and features an award ceremony to honor outstanding mentors, school facilitators, and student achievement.

Sue Enquist, hailed as a softball “coaching legend” by ESPN, will give the keynote presentation about achieving excellence by consistently putting forth your best effort. Enquist concluded her 27-year career as head coach of the UCLA Bruins in 2006 and has gained the reputation as a dynamic motivational speaker. In addition to producing innovative softball instructional materials and authoring the book 101 Offensive Drills for Softball, her book on leadership is scheduled to be released later this year.

The TeamMates program secures in-kind donations to be able to provide this special evening. The venue and dinner are very generously donated by Premier Catering. The keynote presentation by Enquist is being made possible by HUMANeX Ventures.

Registration is required. Seating is limited and the registration may close before the published sign up date of January 13, 2017. To register and complete the needed forms, mentors and school staff may register online at www.lincolnteammates.org.
