The Arc of Lincoln (thearc.org) is busy in July. July 10 is their Journey of Hope Celebration, where Fraternity Brothers of Pi Kappa Phi and The Ability Experience, an organization who support people with disabilities and develop the men of Pi Kappa Phi, will be biking across America! They will stop in Lincoln on July 10, and The Arc of Lincoln wants to line up along West O St. to welcome them as they ride into town. To learn more visit abilityexperience.org.

Also on July 10, The Arc of Lincoln is hosting the Journey of Hope Dance at the Eastridge Presbyterian Church from 6 to 8 p.m. The dance is a fun opportunity for bikers to celebrate with Arc of Lincoln’s self-advocates. The event’s beats is provided by Complete Music, and a light supper can be purchased for just five dollars. Then on July 26, they are also hosting a Disability Empowerment Night at The Saltdogs. They are planning a Family Fun Night supporting all persons with disabilities and their families and honoring the memory of Damian Olander, a huge fan of baseball and fireworks. There are FREE VIP tickets for those with disabilities and family member guests. There are a limited number of tickets available! Reserve your seat today! To have your ticket purchase counted towards the fundraiser; go to saltdogs.com/ARCLS to reserve your seats today! Enter promo code “ARCLS” at checkout to receive two dollars off per ticket

If you can help sponsor these events and help cover the costs of the tickets to just allow families to have fun and not worry about finances, please email Jennifer at director@arcoflincoln.org if you can help sponsor some families.
