Each year, Schemmer selects a non-profit to donate architectural and engineering design services through a program called Schemmer Gives Back, and The Foundry (TheFoundry.co) is thrilled to have been selected as this year’s recipient.
“For years we’ve asked how we can make the most of this space. If the opportunity came, how could we expand it to serve more people? We want a space that brings generations together. One that inspires today’s leaders and tomorrows. This grant with Schemmer hit at the perfect time.,” said Julie Murray-Jensen, Foundry Executive Director.
The Foundry is excited to serve its members and the greater Nebraska community by keeping its expansion open to the input and feedback of its residents. The Foundry acknowledges that its need for space capacity is largely due to the support its members, sponsors and partners, and friends have provided and continue to provide, so the Foundry intends to continue to rely on the suggestions and guidance of those high-achieving leaders and organizations by which it is surrounded.
Equally exciting is the opportunity for the Foundry to connect with even more purpose-driven organizations and missions essential to Nebraska’s wellbeing. The Foundry is always seeking collaborative avenues and purpose-driven partnerships, and thanks to the upcoming additional space, it will be searching for individuals and groups to make the expanded space their home and join a resilient and trailblazing Foundry community.
