The Malone Community Center (malonecenter.org) and Voices of Hope (voicesofhopelincoln.org) are partnering to host a Phenomenal Women Empowerment Group. The group kicked off on Tuesday, August 16 at Voices of Hope Center on 2545 N St. They meet every Tuesday of the week from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the same address. This welcomes any and all looking for a supportive, nurturing group for black women who have experienced trauma and intimate partner violence.

Know that you are never alone in your experience and there are women here to support you. If you are interested in attending, if you would like to learn more about sponsoring this group, or have any general questions, email the group facilitators: Kendra@voicesofhopelincoln.org / Victoria.Edmond@Malonecenter.org. It is not required to email them to attend the group.

The Malone Community Center has been diligently working for 66 years to honor and strengthen the African American community in Lincoln and Lancaster County by serving as a cornerstone for educational, cultural, and advocacy programs for all.
