Tickets are officially live for Chips for Change: The Roaring Raise, the second annual casino-night fundraiser hosted by local business leaders to support Child Legacy International’s (childlegacy.org) lifesaving work in Malawi, Africa. The event will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, from 5:30–10 p.m. at the South Lincoln Morrow Collision Center.

Last year’s inaugural event raised an incredible $87,000, helping fund CLI’s neonatal center, which provides life-saving care for complicated deliveries. This year, the focus turns to funding a new pediatric unit, offering treatment for illnesses affecting Malawian children — especially malaria, one of the region’s greatest threats.

Guests will step into a full 1920s speakeasy experience, complete with casino gaming tables, Italian dinner, desserts, open bar, professional dealers, and live and silent auctions. Attendees will also hear a short presentation from CLI’s Co-Founder, Jeff Rogers.

Guests are encouraged to dress in Roaring 20s–inspired attire, capturing the timeless glamour of the era — flapper dresses, beads, feathers, pearls, sequins, tuxedos, fedoras, and vintage flair. Not into full Gatsby mode? A touch of Vegas-style casino chic works perfectly, too. The vibe: Have fun, feel fabulous, and bring the era to life.

“We were blown away by the generosity of our community last year,” said event co-host Renee Sobotka. “This year’s event is bigger, bolder, and has the potential to truly transform healthcare access for kids in Malawi. Every ticket sold, every sponsor, every silent-auction item — it all directly impacts lives.”
