This year, kids who are staying at People’s City Mission (PCM, pcmlincoln.org) and kids from impoverished families who shop at the Help Center will once again have a fun Christmas surprise. “Santa’s Workshop” will be held Thursday, December 14, and will be a time where guests of the Mission and families in need from the community can shop for free for Christmas presents – gift wrapping will be provided as well. Santa will also be there!
All of the toys are donated by individuals, businesses and organizations from around the Lincoln area. Anyone who would like to donate a new toy for this event during People’s City Mission’s annual Toy Drive can drop them off at the Help Center at 6800 P St. or the Shelter at 110 Q St. All donations need to be received by December 8 to be included in the giveaways.
