As winter slowly approaches, Voices of Hope (voicesofhopelincoln.org) is collecting winter coats for both children and adults in all sizes.

Join Voices of Hope in spreading warmth and kindness, literally! Together anyone can make an impact in the community, ensuring everyone stays warm and feels loved.

Voices of Hope has been part of the community for over 40 years, founded to provide a crisis line and support services for victims of sexual assault. Before long, the group also began providing services for victims of domestic violence.

Now, Voices of Hope is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, exclusively focusing on issues of domestic violence, sexual assault and related forms of abuse, such as incest, stalking and harassment.

Voices of Hope’s two-fold vision is to provide services to victims and their significant others who are faced with the traumatic aftermath of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, human trafficking, incest and childhood abuse and to provide information about these crimes for the purpose of citizen awareness, prevention and the enhancement of sensitivity and professional understanding of those who may work with individuals facing these problems.

The Voices of Hope vision is that these survivors and their families receive responsive, empowering services and support that meet their needs, both individual and cultural, through advocacy and education aimed at eliminating its recurrence, challenging oppressive institutions and reducing violence.
