Wear Yellow Nebraska, an Omaha-based cancer charity, ceased operations on December 31, 2023. Treasurer Kenny Champoux and President Michael Merritt are finalizing the dissolution. All assets have been distributed to local charities supporting Nebraskans in the fight against cancer. The people at Wear Yellow Nebraska express gratitude to their volunteers, sponsors and event participants for their 20 years of support.
After two decades of dedicated service, they have gracefully concluded its remarkable journey of uniting cyclists and community members to support local cancer patients in accessing life-saving treatment. Their purpose from the beginning was to bring people passionate about cycling together to celebrate life and fight cancer, and their proud of the work they did reaching that goal.
