With spring just around the corner, the YMCA of Lincoln (YMCALincoln.org) is gearing up for its next session of youth programs. Running from March 20 to April 30 at all four Lincoln YMCA branches, children and teens can experience programs including Swim Lessons, Swim Club, Dance, Gymnastics, Jr. Chefs, Teen Fitness Training, and more.
Registration for Lincoln YMCA members opens on March 7, with community member registration opening on March 9.
“Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning to swim or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in youth programs at the Y is about building the whole child, from the inside out,” shared Kelsey Fincham, executive director of the Copple Family YMCA. “Not only are there physical benefits that come from these programs, but they all foster healthy habits, social interaction, and self-esteem.”
In addition to discounted pricing on youth programs and youth sports, YMCA members enjoy access to four state-of-the art wellness centers, indoor and outdoor pools, free group exercise classes, financial assistance options, no contracts, and more.
The YMCA of Lincoln has served the community for over 150 years, promoting positive values through programs that build spirit, mind, and body for all. For more information on the Lincoln YMCA along with a list of youth programs, visit YMCALincoln.org.
