Lancaster Rehabilitation Center (LRC) welcomes Amy Fish, who joined the team as administrator in July. Fish has worked as a health care administrator since October of 1988. After graduating from the University of South Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in health care administration, Fish served 12 years as the administrator of a 110-bed facility in Crete. She also earned a master’s degree in health care administration from Bellevue University. Fish is an active member of the North Lincoln Business Association and serves on the Department of Health and Human Services Nursing Home Administrator board.
Lancaster Rehabilitation Center is Nebraska’s largest skilled nursing facility; where care, comfort and compassion are all critical to the services they provide. LRC specializes in post-acute cardiac care with a dedicated unit for cardiac patients, and their Express Recovery Program allows patients to reserve their private suite prior to any elective surgery that will require a post-acute skilled stay. The newly renovated campus, which recently received a perfect survey from the Department of Health and Human Services, now offers a state-of-the-art therapy gym, Bistro Café, theater, and Husker Lounge.
