With a lifelong history in the restaurant industry, Mary Urtel was very excited to bring her expertise with her into her new role as marketing manager of Lincoln’s Butterfly Bakery (www.butterflybakeryne.com). Being raised in the food industry, and with food always being a centerpiece of family gatherings and special occasions growing up, baking has a special place in Mary’s heart. Since Butterfly Bakery specializes in occasion cakes, Mary feels that her transition into the team went very smoothly. She enjoys promoting something she is so passionate about.

Butterfly Bakery began in March of 2009. Whether it’s fresh breakfast pastries, decadently decorated sugar cookies for an original occasion, or a wedding cake for your special day—it can be done by Butterfly Bakery. Butterfly Bakery prides themselves on their products that are always made fresh, from scratch, using quality ingredients. Innovative designs and attention to detail truly make every item a piece of edible artwork. Butterfly Bakery will do their best to make sure every detail of your creation is absolutely unforgettable.

The bakery is located at 4209 S. 33rd St. and their hours are Tuesday through Friday 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. They are closed Sunday and Monday.
