Cain Retires after 22 Years as Legacy’s Executive Chef; Leyden Takes Over Post
After 22 years as an executive chef at Legacy Retirement Communities (LegacyRetirement.com), Keenan Cain has announced his retirement. Many residents and guests enjoyed Cain’s talents with each dining experience or by attending any Legacy event. In retirement, he is eagerly looking forward to spending more time in nature, fishing, and traveling.
As Cain makes his exit, Eric Leyden has stepped in as executive chef at Legacy Estates. Leyden’s education and well-rounded experience with various styles of cuisine and restaurant management make him a great fit for the company’s dining-services team. His most recent experience—working in private clubs including the Nebraska Club and Sandhills Golf Club—gave him a unique appreciation for hospitality and provides a perfect complement to his role at Legacy Estates.
