City Bank & Trust Co. (www.citybankandtrust.com) is pleased to announce the addition of six new associates to its team of dedicated banking and finance advisors, including Shawn Lang, senior vice president; Lori and Steve Soflin, vice president – mortgage originators; Diana Swarts, senior mortgage underwriter; Jeremy Shaffer, assistant vice president – mortgage; and Kris Walton, senior mortgage processor. The addition of new associates will further aid the bank’s aspiration of growing its involvement in the communities where it serves.
Shawn has been in banking for more than 22 years and has managed a mortgage team for the past 20 years. Lori has been in banking for 33 years and has been a mortgage loan officer for 30 of those years. A few years ago, she convinced her husband Steve to join her team, and together they love helping people make their homeownership dreams come true. Diana has been involved with credit and mortgage for 24 years. The last eight of those years has been spent as a mortgage underwriter, with all endorsements, including SARS & DE. Jeremy studied economics at Nebraska Wesleyan and went on to work in the credit union sector and as a client service analyst for Fiserv before joining City Bank this year. Kris also comes from the credit union sector with additional experience as an escrow officer.
