Custom Blinds & Design (customblindsdesign.com) is honored to welcome Angie Jorgensen as the newest member of its Sales and Business Development team. Angie brings a wealth of experience in marketing, leadership, and client relationship building, as well as an inspiring personal story that fuels her passion for helping others.
A proud Husker, Angie studied Marketing at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Her professional journey has been defined by growth, service, and her ability to create positive and lasting client experiences. With a background in health and fitness, and advocacy work with the American Heart Association, she brings a unique perspective centered on wellness, positivity, and connection.
In 2012, Angie’s life changed dramatically when she suffered a rare medical emergency caused by a benign tumor in her adrenal gland. She went into cardiac arrest twice, had at least one stroke and flat lined numerous times for a total of 20 minutes. Doctors gave her an incredibly low chance of survival as her organs began shutting down, and she remained in a coma for a week. She was diagnosed with a rare heart condition. Miraculously, Angie survived thanks to her strong foundation of health, her faith, and the resilience instilled in her family. She calls her journey a story of going from flatlining to silver lining—and she now sees every day as a gift.
Outside of work, Angie enjoys traveling with her husband, staying active through fitness, and spending cherished time with their four kids. She is deeply proud to call Nebraska home and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with Custom Blinds & Design clients.
Please join them in giving a warm welcome to Angie Jorgensen!
