Dave Anderson has been named office managing partner of KPMG LLP’s (www.kpmg.com/us) Omaha and Lincoln offices, effective October 1. Anderson succeeds Drew Blossom, who transitioned to a senior audit leadership role with KPMG.

Anderson will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of KPMG’s Nebraska practice and the career development for nearly 150 partners and professionals.

“Dave brings more than 17 years of strong leadership and experience providing audit services for public and private clients in the consumer goods, energy, transportation, and business services industries,” said KPMG vice chair, growth and strategy, Lisa Daniels. “With his deep commitment to serving our clients and developing our people, I am confident he will be highly successful in his new role.”

Dave joined the firm in 2005 and was admitted to the partnership in 2018. He has served as the local partner in charge of recruiting since 2020 and as an audit quality support partner since 2018. In addition, he also completed a three-year rotation in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice in New York City. Dave will continue to grow KPMG’s presence in the market and advocate for a collaborative culture.

Outside of KPMG, Dave is actively involved in the local community. He serves as chairman of the board for Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska. He is also a past member of the Omaha Community Playhouse Board of Trustees, United Way of the Midlands Finance Committee, and Knights of Aksarben Foundation Floor Committee.
