Southeast Community College’s (SCC, southeast.edu) Dr. Carolee Ritter received the 2022 Nebraska Community College Association Outstanding Administrator Award on November 6 during the NCCA’s Annual Conference in Grand Island.

Ritter has been at SCC since 1999 when she started as an English faculty member. She received the NCCA Outstanding Faculty Award in 2006 and has served as Dean of Arts & Sciences since 2014. Dr. Joel Michaelis, vice president of instruction, nominated Ritter for the Administrator Award.

The NCCA is comprised of five member schools: Central, Mid-Plains, Northeast, Southeast, and Western Nebraska. Each year the NCCA holds its annual meeting at one of the member schools and awards Faculty, Governor, Administrator, and Friend of the Year awards, along with a Distinguished Alumni Award.
