Dr. Erin Bravo Joins Advanced Medical Imaging

The Physicians of Advanced Medical Imaging (AMI) (amimaging.com) are pleased to welcome Erin K. Bravo, M.D. in the practice of Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Radiology.

Originally from Friend, NE, Dr. Bravo completed her fellowship in Breast Imaging at University of Wisconsin Hospital during June of this year. At the University of Wisconsin Hospital, she also completed a diagnostic radiology residency in 2016. Before receiving her certifications in Wisconsin, Dr. Bravo completed an Internal Medicine Internship and her doctor of medicine degree at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha. Her undergraduate degree was completed at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

Dr. Bravo will start work at AMI during the month of August. Her special training in Breast Imaging makes her one of the only physicians in the area specializing in this type of women’s imaging and high risk breast cancer diagnosis. Her professional affiliations include the Society of Breast Imaging, American Roentgen Ray Society, International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, Radiology Society of North America (RSNA), American Board of Radiology, and the American College of Radiology (ACR).

Dr. Bravo moves to Lincoln with her husband, Marco, and daughter, Hazel. Marco teaches Spanish and Hazel, who is very proud to be five and a half, starts kindergarten in the fall.  Dr. Bravo spends her free time with family going on bike rides, trying new restaurants, and traveling to new cities. She also enjoys working on home improvement projects, including painting, amateur carpentry, and gardening.

Advanced Medical Imaging is the largest independent radiology group in Nebraska. They serve the Lincoln area and are the sole radiology providers for nearly half of the Critical Access Hospitals in rural Nebraska, and two regional health centers, St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln and Mercy Medical of Sioux City, IA.
