First National Bank Announces Jack Weeks as Lead Director, Commercial Lending in Lincoln

Jack Weeks has been named Lead Director, Commercial Lending for First National Bank (www.firstnational.com), announced Rich Herink, Lincoln Market President. Herink said Weeks will be based in Lincoln and will focus on developing new relationships and growing existing relationships with key commercial clients in the Lincoln market while managing a team of Commercial Lenders.

Weeks joined First National Bank in 2003 as a Commercial Credit Analyst in Lincoln. He moved to South Dakota in 2006 and served as a Lender and then Senior Lender for the Bank. Weeks provided oversight for the South Dakota Commercial and Ag Lending portfolio, while serving as chair of the South Dakota Loan Committee and a member of the company’s Asset Liability Committee (ALCO), as well as a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors. He has served on the First National of Nebraska Credit Policy Committee since 2014.

Weeks completed his undergraduate degree in Finance at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and received an M.B.A. from the University of Sioux Falls. He served on the Yankton Chamber Board of Directors, the Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors and Junior Achievement.
