First National Bank Announces Ron Votipka as New Vice President, Commercial Banking

First National Bank (www.fnbo.com) has hired Ron Votipka as vice president, commercial banking, announced Jack Weeks, market president. Votipka is responsible for providing customers with customized commercial lending solutions, along with leading business development efforts, in the Lincoln area.

“Ron has been a long-time banker in and around the Lincoln community and we’re excited to have him at First National Bank,” said Weeks.

Votipka joins First National Bank with 30 years of banking experience. He held various leadership roles at Wells Fargo Bank, including business development officer, branch manager (mortgage), national vice president of marketing and operations of credit card division, and credit, branch, district, and regional manager.

Votipka is a community volunteer with the Team in Training fundraising program for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach, as well as a Good Citizenship Award recipient from the National Honor Society. He also served as parish council member and on the welcoming committee at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Lincoln. Votipka earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
