First National Bank of Omaha Hires Jim Hoffmann as VP, Commercial Banking
First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO, fnbo.com) announced the hiring of Jim Hoffmann as vice president, commercial banking in the Lincoln market. In this position, Hoffmann is responsible for working with small to large businesses from a variety of industries and assisting with their lending, deposits, treasury services, and fraud-protection needs. Hoffmann brings 30 years of financial-industry experience to FNBO, including the last 20 years at Cornerstone Bank in York, where he served as both vice president and manager. There, he managed the commercial-lending functions of the bank and led business-development and community-support efforts.
Prior to that, Hoffmann worked for Citizens National Bank in Lansing, KS and Provident Savings Bank in Lincoln. He also was an active community volunteer in York before relocating to Lincoln. He volunteered with the York Public School Board of Education, York Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, York County Development Corporation Board, Sunrise Sertoma Club, and First United Methodist Church Foundation Board. Hoffmann graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University and the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado.
