Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln Announces New Board of Directors

Eighteen community leaders have been named to the Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln (www.lincolnhabitat.org) 2019 Board of Directors. Haleigh Carlson, Perry Law Firm; Patrick Messer, First Plymouth Church; Jessica Norton, Clark Architects Collaborative 3; Takako Olson, Lincoln Public Schools; Byran Solko, BVH Architects; and Mark Watermeier, Manzitto) join the board for their first term.

The 2019 board officers are: president – Matt Kasik, Madonna ProHealth; 1st vice president – Michaella Kumke, Food Bank of Lincoln; 2nd vice president – Sarah Aguirre, Southeast Community College; secretary – Vicki Obrecht , UNL; and treasurer – Steve Semke.

Continuing their service on the board are: Dan Hile, LI-COR Biosciences; Marv Jaques, Randy Nitz, Roger Reynolds, and Julene Schoen, U.S. Bank; Tami Soper, Office of Senator Kate Bolz; and Ed Zastera, Brester Construction.

Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization that brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Alongside future homeowners, volunteers, and supporters, Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln helps Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
