HoriSun Hospice (horisunhospice.com) is pleased to announce the addition of Ashley Jurey, RN as Nurse Case Manager and Meesha Vollertsen, RN as On-Call Nurse to its team.
Jurey received her RN license in 2005. She worked at Bryan Medical Center for most of her nursing career, working in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit, the Neuro/ Trauma ICU, the Gastrointestinal Lab and at Ne
braska Internal Medicine before beginning in hospice in early 2024. Jurey loves getting to know patients and their families while being a part of their journey throughout their lives.
Vollertsen first began working as a CNA at Madonna Rehabilitation, working with patients who suffered spinal cord injuries and others with traumatic brain injuries. She received her RN license from Bryan School of Nursing in 1997
. Vollertsen worked at Bryan Medical Center in a variety of specialties for 25 years and found herself most passionate about end-of-life patients. Meesha has always found it an honor to support patients and their families through what is often a difficult and stressful time in their lives. Meesha takes pride in being an advocate for patients and their family members.
