HoriSun Hospice ( horisunhospice.com) is pleased to announce that Kelli Klopfenstein, RN, BSN, MSN, CHPN, has been promoted to shareholder of the locally owned hospice organization. Klopfenstein has served as HoriSun Hospice’s Director of Clinical Services since 2019 and has been a member of the HoriSun team for over a decade. She began her nursing career after earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Southeast Community College in 1999 before completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing through the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2005 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2014. Prior to joining HoriSun Hospice, Klopfenstein spent many years at Bryan Medical Center West, where she served as both an intensive care staff nurse and nurse manager. In her current role, she oversees the delivery of clinical care for hospice patients and families while supporting HoriSun’s interdisciplinary team and upholding the organization’s commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
