Karen Butzke of Aflac Celebrates One Year as Office Manager, Passes Insurance Exam
Kerry Butzke, a veteran benefits advisor for Aflac in Nebraska, is proud to announce that her employee and mother, Karen Butzke, passed her insurance exam in December. Karen is also celebrating one full year of being Kerry’s office manager, gaining exposure in the insurance field. Kerry has been in her Aflac business for almost eight years and brought Karen on a year ago in response to the growing demand for supplemental insurance. Karen’s duties as office manager include general office and clerical tasks, as well as submitting claims and policy changes, running new quotes, and ensuring clients’ needs are met.
The state of Nebraska requires all agents to obtain a state insurance license, which can only be done by earning over a 70% on an intentionally difficult exam. Karen will now be able to run quotes immediately over the phone for clients, helping each claimant sign up for one-day pay and get paid faster with Aflac SmartClaim. Together, this mother-daughter duo can grow their business by being able to manage more needs for new clients and current clients.
