James Hamilton joins Lincoln Electric System as its new in-house staff attorney. Hamilton collaborates with LES Vice President and General Counsel Shelley Sahling-Zart to provide legal counsel on LES’ business activities. Hamilton also represents LES in and coordinates legal strategy for litigation matters.
Kelley Porter is the new manager of customer and corporate communications at LES. In this capacity, Porter leads a team responsible for developing integrated communication strategies to help advance LES’ mission to be a progressive leader, partnering with the community to maximize energy value and quality of life in an environmentally responsible manner. Prior to her employment at LES, Porter held a variety of positions in the Lincoln area, including director of communications for the Nebraska Hospital Association, marketing and development manager for the Nebraska Restaurant Association, and partner of a freelance marketing and design business. Earlier in her career, she served on the government affairs team for the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, helping to provide value to members and working in partnership with other organizations to build a vibrant local economy.
