Lincoln Lymphedema Clinic Welcomes Kayla Stegemann as New Receptionist
The Lymphedema Clinic (llotnebraska.com) recently welcomed Kayla Stegemann as their new receptionist. Kayla has a medical background in nursing, including work as a certified nursing assistant and other roles. Kayla has worked with The Lymphedema Clinic Owner, Adam Rawson, in the past and both new this would be a good fit and a good opportunity for them.
As the new receptionist, Kayla will be taking phone calls and manage scheduling at the clinic part-time—from 8 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, then increasing her hours as the clientele grows. Kayla attended Southeast Community College in Beatrice and Lincoln. Outside of work, she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her six-year-old son.
Recently established by Occupational Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist Adam Rawson as the first stand-alone lymphedema clinic in Nebraska. The Lymphedema Clinic is able to treat all types of swelling, including feet that swell as the day goes on, swelling after an accident, injury or surgery, and arthritis-type of swelling. Lincoln Lymphedema & Occupational Therapy, LLC offers complete decongestive therapy to treat edema (swelling). Treatment modalities include manual lymph drainage techniques, skincare, application of compression bandages, assessment for daily-wear compression, donning/doffing education for compression wear, and education for use of donning/doffing aides.
