Leadership Lincoln’s (leadershiplincoln.org) Board of Directors has hired Mick Hale as executive director. A familiar face to many alumni and friends, Mick previously held the role from 2015 to 2020.
Mick Hale is a veteran educator with nearly 40 years of experience in both formal and informal spaces. Mick spent 18 years in public and parochial schools and another 15 years in museum education. Mick grew up in Pella, Iowa, and came to Nebraska by way of Peru State College. Mick and his wife, Lisa, vice president of Customer Service for LES, are active in the community, supporting many civic causes. They have three children and two grandchildren they enjoy spending time with every chance they get.
“The Leadership Lincoln Board of Directors is thrilled to have the opportunity to bring Mick Hale back to our team,” said Dave Haring, board president. “His history with our organization, passion for its stakeholders, and strategic connections throughout the community make him uniquely positioned to lead our team going forward.”
