Pemberly Place Promotes Maddie Grendahl

Pemberly Place (pemberlyplace.com) is excited to welcome Maddie Grendahl to their Activities Team. Maddie is from Lincoln and attended high school at Lincoln Pius, where she participated in volleyball, swimming, and track. Maddie was in club volleyball and dance for more than 10 years, keeping her very busy throughout school. After high school, she attended Southeast Community College to study Early Childhood Development. She worked as an assistant teacher for the Childhood Development Center at the college, but later decided to look at additional career opportunities, which led her to Pemberly Place.

Maddie started as a server at Pembaerly Place. She loved working with the residents and, wanting to take more of a one-on-one approach, decided to help the Activities Team come up with new fun ideas while also assisting Pemberly’s life enrichment director. Being a goal-oriented person, she has set her sights on increasing overall participation in all planned activities. The hope is to get people out of their apartments and to depend on each other as a support system when family members are not available. Maddie is an animal lover, growing up with multiple dogs and now two cats. Maddie lives by a saying from The Lion King—”Hakuna Matata”, which means “no worries, no troubles.” She strives to bring this to Pemberly residents every day!

Pemberly Place is known throughout Lincoln for their creative service planning and attention to each resident’s individual needs. Locally owned, the Pemberly Place community offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care options. To learn more, call (402) 413-9770 or visit pemberlyplace.com.
