Pemberly Place Welcomes Sophie Hoelz to Team as Exercise Specialist for Residents

Pemberly Place (pemberlyplace.com) is happy to welcome Sophie Hoelz to the team as a new Exercise Specialist. She will be working one-on-one with residents and leading group exercise classes. Sophie is originally from Wisconsin and moved to Nebraska on a track scholarship to Concordia, graduating with a degree in psychology and behavioral science. Sophie began her career in senior care as a housekeeper at an assisted living community and loved the senior population, so she decided to venture out and work one-on-one with each resident to keep them strong both physically and mentally through exercise.

Sophie is currently pursuing her master’s degree in counseling through Concordia and hopes to one day add that to her abilities in helping the geriatric population cope with whatever life throws at them. Pemberly Place looks forward to watching Sophie grow with the residents and help them achieve their individual goals by challenging them to hold a healthy lifestyle by keeping active. Outside of work, Sophie loves to exercise, especially outside with her Golden Retriever, who loves playing outdoors in the snow and is very active all the time.

Pemberly Place is known throughout Lincoln for their creative service planning and attention to each resident’s individual needs. Their care is designed to meet and exceed the quality benchmarks set by the National Center for Assisted Living.
