Program Coordinator Meg Damme Celebrates 15 Years with Fresh Start Home
Meg Damme recently celebrated 15 years of dedication and service to Fresh Start Home (freshstarthome.org) and subsequently to ending homelessness in Lincoln. She currently is thriving in the role as program coordinator. Meg is in charge of program management and development, mentoring and coaching staff, direct service as needed, and more. She is a firm believer of women inspiring women.
Meg is proud to be a part of a support system for many women that is honest and trauma-informed, lacks all judgment, and always acts in clients’ best interest.
Meg’s passion for helping others is evident in her work in the Lincoln community. In addition to working at Fresh Start, Meg holds an appointed seat on the State Advisory Committee on Mental Health Services, is a member of the Mental Health Association Consumer Advisory Board, and is a recipient of the Homeless Coalition Human Services Worker of the Year 2019 award. She has also volunteered for many projects that serve victims of domestic violence.
Fresh Start Home is a transitional home for women who are moving out of homelessness. To congratulate Meg on all her hard work for these women, contact her at (402) 475-7777 / megd@freshstarthome.org.
