Sumner Place Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is pleased to welcome the newest addition to its leadership team, Megan Herter. Megan was hired to fill the position of Admissions & Public Relations Coordinator in July of 2014. In her position, Megan is responsible for building internal and external relationships. She also ensures visitors and family members feel welcomed and receive all the information they need to make the best possible decision regarding care for their loved one. In December 2013, Megan graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health, Psychology Minor and a Gerontology Certificate.
Sumner Place Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, located at 1750 S. 20th Street in Lincoln, is one of 32 facilities owned or managed by Vetter Health Service (VHS) group of Omaha, Nebraska. The Sumner Place administrator and staff develop plans to continually improve their care and services with the support from the VHS network. Operating decisions are made locally to ensure Sumner Place remains responsive to the needs of its residents and community.
