Wilderness Ridge Welcomes New Restaurant Chef and Executive Sous Chef
Wilderness Ridge (www.wildernessridgegolf.com) is proud to announce and welcome Mike Perkins as the restaurant chef, and George Looschen as the executive sous chef. Together Mike and George will be responsible for leading the culinary team for the Lodge at Wilderness Ridge. With 35 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Mike joins the Wilderness Ridge team after numerous positions as executive chef including several Las Vegas hotels and casinos, where he became skilled in menu development and mentoring.
George joins the Wilderness Ridge team from Stokes restaurant in Omaha, where he served as restaurant chef, with a focus on training, creating menus and preparing menu items for diners. Originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, he also spent several years at Café Profusion in Colorado, where he perfected his skills in Asian fusion. George is ready to share his unique culinary knowledge, saying, “I am excited for the opportunity to work with Mike. We both have an unmatched passion for food and look forward to creating exceptional dishes our diners will enjoy in an atmosphere that can’t be matched.”
