Registration Still Open for Wear Yellow Nebraska’s Wear Yellow Ride, Fun Run & Walk
There is still time to register for the 19th Annual Wear Yellow Ride, Fun Run & Walk benefiting Wear Yellow Nebraska (www.wearyellownebraska.org) on Saturday, May 14. The event will start at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum in Ashland, NE.
This event is an opportunity for riders to experience the very best of springtime in rural Nebraska, including 25-, 35-,
45-, and 55-mile options; a new 27-mile beginners gravel option, and a 55-mile experienced gravel riders route. Walkers and runners will also get to enjoy a 5K route throughout the beautiful Mahoney State Park.
The Wear Yellow Ride, Fun Run & Walk funds the Wear Yellow Cab Ride Program, which provides cancer patients with free transportation to life-saving treatment. Register for the event at supportwyn.org/19. While the deadline has passed to earn a t-shirt with registration, be sure to check in after 10 a.m. when at the event to see if extras are available.
Wear Yellow Nebraska is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a clear focus on niche initiatives that offer cancer survivors support in ways that were not being addressed and for people who would otherwise fall through the cracks, truly caring for an individual’s special circumstances.
