The Lincoln Young Professionals Group (YPG) is pleased to announce that Sally Jarecke has been named Young Professional of the Month for February.

Jarecke, who graduated in 2004 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with degrees in finance and marketing, is marketing coordinator for Union Bank & Trust. She has worked at Union Bank since 2001 and is responsible for departmental strategic planning, project and promotion coordination. In 2007, she completed Union Bank & Trust’s leadership development program.

She is president of Fresh Start’s Board of Directors and serves on Union Bank & Trust’s community involvement committee. Jarecke has also led the bank’s Campaign Against Hunger food drive (benefiting Lincoln Food Bank) since 2006. She is involved with YPG philanthropy including Philanthropy Week, Coopetition, and the summer golf event.

The Lincoln Young Professionals Group (YPG) was founded in 2007 to empower young professionals in Lincoln to create an energetic and dynamic environment for learning, networking, and entrepreneurship. YPG’s vision is to increase the attractiveness of Lincoln, by encouraging young professionals to take ownership in its future by engaging in the community professionally, personally, and philanthropically.
