Tabitha (Tabitha.org) is pleased to share some updates to exciting things that have been happening within their organization.
The long-held relationship between Tabitha and Immanuel has expanded to include hospice services to those in the Omaha area. Next, home health care services will roll out to the Lincoln market. This venture plays upon the strengths of both Tabitha and Immanuel, and will deliver quality care and support to seniors, wherever they call home.
Tabitha has also begun construction of their InterGenerational (InterGen) project, a first-of-its-kind-in-the-nation living community for independent seniors (55+) and Bryan College of Health Sciences students. This addresses three major challenges: 1) the epidemic of loneliness across generations, 2) lack of moderately priced housing, and 3) the shortage of health care workforce. A grand opening date is set for summer 2023.
Tabitha at Prairie Commons, currently under construction, is a $51 million senior living community in Grand Island, where Tabitha has provided home health and hospice care for more than 25 years. Slated to open in late 2022, this community will provide a wide range of living options for older adults from independent, assisted, and memory care to long-term care/skilled nursing.
As the state’s quality award-winning senior care expert, nonprofit Tabitha empowers people to live joyfully, age gratefully. Learn more at Tabitha.org.
