The Arc of Lincoln (www.arclincoln.org) is excited for the year ahead as they have announced the program lineup for 2023.

On the second Friday of each month, adults with intellectual/ developmental disabilities are invited to the Come Together social gatherings. On the third Thursday of the month, school age teenagers with intellectual/developmental disabilities are invited to Friendly Faces social gatherings. Both the Come Together and Friendly Faces groups will meet from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Hands of Heartland, 7501 O St., Suite 105.

During the January gatherings, participants will be looking toward the future of 2023 and creating vision boards, personalized journals, and calendars. Participants are asked to bring inspiring photos. The Arc of Lincoln would appreciate community donations of magazines for sources of inspirational photos. Magazines may be dropped off at The Arc of Lincoln office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

The Arc of Lincoln has also announced a new series, Networking Nights for Parents. This series will begin on January 24 from 5:30- 7:00 p.m. Networking Nights provide a time to gather as parents of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities to share stories and ideas, as well as tips about how to nurture and support their children. Future dates will be planned by participants.
