The “Be a Tourist” program, presented by the Lincoln CVB, is in its 8th year as a program to generate awareness of Lincoln area attractions. The program was created to give people an alternative to traveling out of town for vacations by staying in Lincoln and discovering some of the hidden gems that Lincoln has to offer.  Participants include families, daycares, couples, as well as retired citizens who have embraced the program by rediscovering Lincoln’s many attractions.   This excitement has spread to others visiting our city from out of state, with more passports turned in this year compared to last year.
