Parenting Through Domestic Violence: DV 101 is a free, eight-week educational course designed to support victims and survivors of domestic violence as they navigate the challenges of parenting
while healing from trauma. Taking place every Wednesday from 3:45 – 5:15 p.m. at Voices of Hope (voicesofhopelincoln.org), located at 2545 N St. Lincoln, new members can join anytime. This comprehensive curriculum provides participants with valuable tools, knowledge, and insight into the impact domestic violence has on both parents and children.

The course explores family dynamics, trauma responses, healthy coping strategies and the long-term effects of domestic violence on child development and parent child relationships. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how trauma influences behavior, communication and emotional well being while learning practical skills to foster healing, resilience and healthy family connections.
