Last Month – Stur 22 Lounge
We’re so thankful for our November Friends4Lunch crew and their flexibility. We had to change the location one day before the event, but thanks to Stur 22 Lounge Owner Charles Brewer and his staff, we were still able to host an amazing event on November 2. Stur 22 Lounge is an attractive and vibrant gathering place located in Southeast Lincoln. The lounge is a chic and welcoming space, serving a unique and colorful array of Caribbean cuisine and West African flavors. Many of November’s Friends4Lunch attendees enjoyed dishes like the Caribbean Jerk Chicken, Chuck Rice (blended with okra and spinach), and mango coleslaw or fried plantain slices. The restaurant offers options from appetizers and desserts, to cocktails, beers, and wines. Stur 22 is open Tuesday – Thursday, 4 – 11 p.m., Friday – Saturday, 4 p.m. – 1 a.m., and Sunday 4 – 9 p.m. (they’re closed on Mondays). This Month – John J’s Tiki Bar
On behalf of our entire Strictly Business team, we would like to invite you to our upcoming holiday Friends4Lunch event on Friday, December 7 at the Graduate Lincoln’s John J’s Tiki Bar (www.graduatehotels.com/lincoln/restaurant/john-js) located at 141 N 9th St. in downtown Lincoln. John J’s Tiki Bar is a laid-back gathering spot with a warm wink at the past. The restaurant serves American fare and custom tiki drinks, so you can kick back in the middle of the Cornhusker State. This Friends4Lunch will be especially unique as the Graduate Lincoln will be letting us test out their new Top Golf Swing Suites, an immersive virtual golf experience, throughout the lunch. Lunch prices range from $6 – $12. As this is our holiday Friends4Lunch, we encourage you to wear your most festive attire (Christmas colors, sweaters, accessories, etc.).
