About the Owner

Natalie Leon is the owner and executive director of Visiting Angels.

Natalie has been in the healthcare industry for over 10 years. She started as a CNA and Medication Aide, working with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients. Natalie discovered Visiting Angels while exploring opportunities to open her own business. She saw there was an urgent need for more in-home elderly care services in Lincoln. Through Visiting Angels, Natalie has been able to help provide enhanced education and support to seniors, their families, health care professionals, and the community.

When you hire in-home care for a loved one, it’s important that you have full confidence in your loved one’s caregiver or caregivers. That’s why Visiting Angels offers Select Your Caregiver so care recipients and their families have a say in choosing their caregivers.

How It Works: It starts with a care assessment performed in your loved one’s home. This is a chance for the Visiting Angels care director to learn more about your loved one’s specific care needs, lifestyle, preferences, and schedules. Based on this assessment, Visiting Angels can create a personalized care plan and will match your loved one with a caregiver whose skills, experience, and personality align with your loved one’s needs.

Pet Therapy—Meet Zeke!

Visiting Angels identified the benefits of pet therapy for older adults. Pet therapy has proven to be very mentally, emotionally, and even physically helpful for them. This is why Visiting Angels has a three-year old dog named Zeke on their team. Zeke is a licensed therapy dog who travels all over Lincoln including retirement living centers, rehabilitation centers, and in seniors’ own homes to provide older adults with companionship and boost the general health and well-being of older adults.
