How did you get started in the business?

A good friend introduced me to the world of data and technology in 2011. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills and become resilient in an ever changing economy. Since then, I have enjoyed developing personalized solutions for customers all over the great state of Nebraska.

What has been your most important achievement professionally?

Learning how to accept and welcome change. Change continually benefits my professional progress and better refines my skills. Ultimately, it has led me to the amazing job I have today!

Tell us a little about your family.

My husband and I will celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary this year. We have two beautiful children: Sloan (11) and Blaise (8). We also have a lovely cat named Cleo.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?

I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors and vacations to other states. We really enjoy visiting friends and family in Oregon and Colorado.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?

I love writing and reading poetry. In college, I co-founded Mistry Guild, a poetry, art, and photography journal with a friend. I also self-published a book of poetry titled Prairie Ghosts.

Who inspires you?

Because of my love of literature, I find a lot of inspiration in writers such as Toni Morrison, Walt Whitman, Zora Neale Hurston, Margaret Atwood, Henry David Thoreau, Maya Angelou, Sharon Olds, and so many others. I am especially inspired by our very own Nebraska Poet Laureate Ted Kooser!
