Tell us a little about your business (Tsquaremovers.com). – I grew up in Omaha graduated from a small town about 8 miles north of Omaha called Fort Calhoun. Attended ITT Technical College for 1.5 years and actually dropped out to pursue moving and business ownership.

How did you get started in the business? – It was a flyer in the career center at college for Uhaul recruiting partnership moving companies.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – In the beginning, it was just finding the right people to do the jobs and help with administrative stuff. When I got together with my wife, that’s when things finally clicked.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – I’d have to say originally it was winning Lincoln’s choice 2025, but since then we’ve won again in 2026 and a BBB torch award.

Tell us a little about your family. – We’re a blended family with 4 kids. The youngest just graduated high school.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – Getting with my wife, and renting our first home together off of south Cotner. It created a new drive in both of us to figure how to be successful.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I really enjoy disc golf and relaxing at Capital Cigar Lounge.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I’m really into sports and statistics so I’m fairly gifted at remembering or predicting sporting events.

Who inspires you? – My father was always a big influence on me. He didn’t graduate but worked 1 job his whole life until retirement. Started as a garage janitor for omaha Metro Area Transit at 16. Retired as the lead mechanic many years later at age 65. His work ethic and drive to be someone without an education was inspiring.

What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – My dad use to tell me when I was younger, to do two things for work. Do 1 thing I really enjoy that can make money and do one thing I’m really good at. That’s how I ended up doing moving which I’m really good at and technology which I really enjoy.

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Caring, sometimes I care to a fault.

If you could have a super power, what would it be? – Time travel. If one could travel back in time and make certain moves first, you could be infinitely successful.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – Probably math, I’m really good with numbers.

What local nonprofit organization(s) are you passionate about or involved with, and are there any special reasons why? – We Can Do This. I grew up relatively poor in north Omaha. It means a lot to help kids like I needed at that time. We support dozens of non-profits. Like visionary youth, Marvilee, Loaves & Fishes, baby & me and many more.

What is your favorite movie? – Original Total Recall.

What is your favorite TV show? – Sheriff Country & Fire Country.

What is your favorite local Lincoln restaurant? – Art & Soul, Carmela’s & The Venue in that order.
