Katie Kimbrough started her Mary Kay Cosmetics business when she was a 19-year-old college student, going to school full time, working full time and planning a wedding.  She signed the agreement after attending a meeting and began with a full inventory the very next day.  After getting married, she moved to Denver where she knew no one and worked her business very successfully.  She found that Mary Kay was the vehicle she needed to meet new friends and, when faced with a devastating divorce, that it provided her with the support system she needed.  As the years went by, Katie found that Mary Kay fit into her life anywhere from a full-time position to a career enhancement and, after deciding she never wanted to be faced with a situation where others could make a decision to change her entire lifestyle, decided to work the business as a lifelong career.  Her mission is to enlighten and empower women to live a life they love.
